What is the V2MOM method?

By definition, V2MOM is a brainstorming methodology that consists of five key steps:

1. Vision: What is your ultimate goal? This step is an opportunity for everyone to share their individual vision of your project, then discuss it together to converge on a common goal.
2. Values: What is important to you to realize your vision? This step allows you to identify all the principles and values that will guide your thinking.
3. Methods: What concrete actions will help you align your vision and values? At this stage, it is important to list all your ideas and prioritize them.
4. Obstacles: What could block your progress or the realization of your vision? By the end of this step, you should have identified the three most significant obstacles you are facing and proposed strategies to overcome them.
5. Measures: How will you know when you have achieved your goal? This final step allows you to define together the three main key indicators for evaluating your progress and the success of your project.

How can you use this V2MOM template to improve effectiveness?

Begin by creating your copy of the V2MOM template, either directly from this page or via the template library accessible from your Klaxoon account.

Name your template and prepare it according to your needs before sharing it:

• Import visual or contextual elements specific to your organization: logo, names of people or teams involved, etc.
