From summarizing work to ideation and drafting, your teams are already working with AI assistants on a daily basis. Now, Klaxoon MCP lets you take it a step further by connecting your AI assistants — such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor — to your Klaxoon whiteboards.
With this new feature, your AI assistants can read and interact directly with the digital sticky notes, diagrams, and methods used on your whiteboards.
Discover how Klaxoon MCP helps you save time when preparing and organizing your visual collaboration space — the very place where much of your thinking takes shape.

Klaxoon MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that allows any compatible AI assistant to read, organize, and update Klaxoon whiteboards, always within the scope of your existing Klaxoon permissions.
Specifically, once the server is connected, your AI assistant can:
This further reduces the time spent manually preparing your workshops, structuring your brainstorming sessions, or developing an actionable plan following a retrospective. Your assistant directly retrieves the context from your whiteboard and processes your data securely within the framework your company defines.

Connect all of your enterprise AI tools to your Klaxoon whiteboards via the MCP server.
Whether it’s before a meeting, a brainstorming session, or a cross-team workshop, the time spent preparing the whiteboard is essential — and until now, it couldn’t be reduced.
With Klaxoon MCP, start with a simple text, a file, or data from another tool you use, and let your AI assistant build the entire structure of your whiteboard. It can add sections, steps, instructions, examples, and even customize your space to reflect your company’s identity.
At all times, you remain in control to make the final adjustments and share the whiteboard with your team.
Until now, keeping track of multiple whiteboards related to your projects meant opening them one by one and manually scrolling through all the ideas shared by participants.
With Klaxoon MCP, this hassle is a thing of the past. Your AI assistant analyzes your whiteboards and provides a clear, concise summary so that you can grasp the essentials in an instant.
No more need to manually create and align the visual and structural elements of your whiteboard. With Klaxoon MCP, your AI assistant can directly generate diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual representations tailored to your needs.
You can even attach data to your prompt in the form of a file, spreadsheet, or slides, so that it integrates them directly into your whiteboard, already organized and ready to use.
A whiteboard filled with ideas often contains key decisions and the next steps in a line of thinking, but it can be time-consuming to transfer them one by one into your other tools.
With Klaxoon MCP, simply ask your AI assistant to convert these elements into to-do lists, tickets, or reusable summaries in your internal messaging system, shared files, as well as in Jira, Wrike, and many other tools in your enterprise system. This way, in just a few seconds, the raw output of a workshop or a kickoff meeting becomes actionable for a project manager.
After a brainstorming session or PI Planning, a whiteboard shared among many participants or teams can contain dozens, even hundreds, of ideas. Thus, structuring them according to your own criteria, identifying duplicates, and highlighting the key points can become time-consuming.
With Klaxoon MCP, your AI assistant uses the categorization framework you provide to automatically group and organize items on the whiteboard by theme, status, priority, assignee, or any other relevant field. Key information for decision-making stands out immediately, leading to significantly greater efficiency at scale.
When your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another) interacts with your whiteboards via the MCP server, it does so in accordance with your own access permissions in Klaxoon. It can never modify a whiteboard beyond those permissions.
What this means:
The AI operates within the same permissions and access controls framework as its users, allowing every team to benefit from it without ever losing control over how the work is done.
Three elements are required to enable the connection with Klaxoon MCP:
Once you have these elements, connect Klaxoon MCP from your assistant by following the specific instructions for each tool. For example, ChatGPT lets you connect through its dedicated marketplace, and Claude through its connector directory.

Once the connection is established, keep the following in mind to get the best results with Klaxoon MCP:
Klaxoon MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that allows any compatible AI assistant to read, organize, and update your Klaxoon whiteboards from the tool you already use.
Any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol can be connected to Klaxoon MCP. These include Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and many others.
To enable the connection with Klaxoon MCP, you need a compatible AI assistant account, a Klaxoon account, and edit access to the whiteboards you want to use.
No. The assistant operates within the scope of your existing Klaxoon permissions. If you cannot access a whiteboard in Klaxoon, the assistant cannot access it via the MCP either.
There are many ways to use this tool in your day-to-day collaboration. For example, you can extract content from your whiteboards in a structured format, such as to-do lists and summaries, save time when preparing for workshops, create diagrams or charts, summarize the content of a whiteboard, or organize it by topic, status, priority, or assignee.
Your AI assistant can interact with text objects, sticky notes, shapes, and connectors on your whiteboards. Any other formats cannot be read or edited.
