French software company Klaxoon announces expansion into United States at Investment Summit

Washington – French software and hardware company Klaxoon is expanding its operations in the United States, and will be the first company to announce its U.S. investment at the SelectUSA Investment Summit.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross will join Klaxoon CEO Matthieu Beucher to announce the investment project Monday, June 19, at 3 p.m.

Klaxoon is a fast-growing European company whose innovative tools enhance meetings inside and out of the office while boosting collaboration in workplaces in more than 114 countries. The company earned $5.6 million in venture capital after a participating in an accelerator program in New York. The company will now use that capital to start its U.S. operations, which will start in New York City.

The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest profile event to connect global companies and U.S. economic development organizations to facilitate business investment in the United States. To date, representatives from 51 U.S. states and territories and more than 60 international markets have already registered for the Summit.
