Front-end Developer
The opportunity
💡 You'll be part of the R&D team, made up of 70 people (developers, data, devops, qa, product owner, engineering manager). We work as a features team, divided into 3 main functional areas in order to :
- Enable efficient collaborative working via our Board tool (whiteboarding and visual management), with a strong focus on performance, fluidity and ease of adoption.
- Create a space for strong participation during meetings and workshops, whatever the location of participants (synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid).
- Facilitate the integration of our tool into companies' information systems (SSO, SCIM, OKTA, Teams, etc.) and via public APIs (https://developers.klaxoon.com/).
🤝 What your day-to-day will look like
We're pragmatic, and we use what works for us. That's why you won't hear about SCRUM or Kanban with us. We use our own processes inspired by these agile methods. For example, we don't estimate tasks (#noEstimate), prioritizing them by value, both functional and technical.
Being part of R&D also means being part of the Frontend team. Every Tuesday morning, it's "Culture!" where all the front developer get together to exchange best practices and tech news. It's also a good time to organize a coding dojo.
⭐ Your missions
The Klaxoon application is rich and vast. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of subjects, depending on your skills, and in particular to develop new features in collaboration with other developers and QA.
And depending on the team:
📱 You may be asked to work on our mobile app written in React Native to implement new mobile features.
🚀 You'll also be able to apply your knowledge of trigonometry to implement new tools on Board (feather tool, rounded connectors).
🚀 You'll also be able to optimize our build / dev tools and front/back architecture to offer a pleasant dev experience (Nx / Module Federation) and improve the performance of our tools.
🚀 Finally, you may be required to start "from scratch" by migrating older parts of our code to React and Typescript.

You are:
🎯 🎯 The profile we're looking for is a dynamic, inquisitive person with a real interest for the back end area and significant experience with React and Typescript. You're familiar with continuous code improvement, unit testing and you're also familiar with Git.
